Lyn is the fruit of frustration by the
lack of affordable and user friendly devices for the VI community.
This project was started as a personal
experience from our founders
Lyn is the size of a mobile phone and its
meant to hang from your neck, in the front it has a camera and a button, in the top has speakers and
microphone.
Lyn is simple to use, just tap the front button to speak or use the scrolling wheel to select a
pre loaded command, it will take a photo and reply.
You can also ask things that does not require the photo,
like search news online or play music.
Bus arrival time and bus number recognition - SG
Describe your surroundings and help you navigate.
Read newspapers, receipts, expiry dates, product names, handwritten text and also recognize money.
Navigate the web to look for the latest news, stock prices, weather and many more.
Lyn can recognize people from your personal database.
Can make and receive call directly.
Play your favorite music into the speakers or headphones.
Say "Hey Lyn" to activate. Good when hands are busy or when cant find the device.
Set alarms and reminders
Lyn knows a lot, you can ask anything.
We aimed Lyn to be affordable, thus it is designed to require an internet connection to function optimally, Lyn can connect to WiFi or use a standard SIM card.
